*My Family*

It would be unfair if I won't talk about my family.

I will start with my mother because without her it would be impossible to see this beautiful world.

My mother is a very simple lady; she is the complete house wife material.  She is famous for her advices without cost. Not bothering whether a person is interested in it.:-) I however like her way of thinking and no matter what people think, I respect her from the bottom of my heart. She has a golden and a pure heart. Helps people irrespective of who they are and is extremely loyal to her friends.

She is a great cook and loves stuffing food into people. She is a very good swimmer too and also plays badminton very well. :-) The best part being that she is extremely brave and can take on any challenge.

My mother never taught us anything unacceptable to the society. We never spoke about caste-fights, racism, unkind remarks or religious matters within our family. It was looked down upon and my mother made sure that we respected everyone and took good care in not letting us think down of anyone.

I owe this life to her and the way she brought me up. Unthinkable.

I often get surprised by her ideas, she reminds me of "Sant Kabir" sometimes.

Amma thank you very much for giving me life and letting me know how to live a happy life.

My father! If you want to see how peace would have looked like if it assumed human form, come and see my father. If you can't be patient, come and meet my father. He's a staunch believer in Gandhian philosophies. But if you believe in GOD, please don't come near my father!

He is an extremely cool man, simple and very loyal to his wife (which is really difficult to get these days).

I was always an adorable child for him. He loves me more than any thing. I remember I always got what I wished for even before I could say speak about it. I can still remember, while in school one day, I went home for lunch and saw Papa with a new school bag for me - extremely stylish - without that being any occasion. I was so happy that I went running back to school forgetting about the lunch. I was happy because I had two school bags and I knew that I had a choice from the two.

Papa made me try on fashion and style; whatever would be in fashion those days, he made me try everything on. Always buying me at least a couple of dresses and two pairs of shoes. I have never seen my family buying less than a pair of anything for me.

I remember when I was in the 2nd standard, I was to recite multiplication tables till 15 in the class. I was really struggling hard to mug them up but my father made it so easy that I haven't forgotten any of those till this day.

When I see people beating their kids, I find it strange and remember only twice or thrice getting a scolding from my father. Papa never said "no" for anything.

Thank you papa for loving me so much and making me feel that someone is there who loves me more than anything else.

I am lucky to have parents like you and would be unjust if I won't thank you.

Thank you Amma Papa!

Thank you very much for letting me come to this world and loving me so much.

Thank you very much for fulfilling my all wishes.

Thank you very much for not letting me sleep empty stomach ever.

Thank you very much for teaching me how to smile in tough times.

Thank you for all you did for me.

I owe this birth to both of you; I'll try to be a good daughter.

Thank you!
